Who we are? What we are?

✨️Who are we? What are we?

For thousands of years, humans have pondered these questions—not just out of curiosity, but out of a deep need to understand who we truly are.

On the surface, we are human beings: bodies, thoughts, emotions, memories, and desires. But is that all?

If we look deeper, we see something: The body changes as we grow. Thoughts come and go. Emotions rise and fall like waves. Even our beliefs shift over time.

But something stays the same.

That awareness—calm, silent, and steady—has been with us through it all. It watches the changes, yet remains unchanged.

Many spiritual traditions, like Advaita Vedanta, Buddhism, Sufism, and mystical Christianity, tell us this: We are not the things we experience—thoughts, emotions, or even our identity—but the awareness that witnesses them.

We are not the story, but the one who sees it. Not the actor, but the stage. Not the storm, but the open sky.

In this way, we are not just people with awareness—we are awareness itself. Still, spacious, and unchanging.

So, who are we?

The question remains, like a beautiful mystery.

And maybe, just maybe...

We are that very mystery—alive, present, and aware.
